Rygor Plant, which was the UK’s first, and is the UK’s largest XCMG franchised Dealer, has announced the appointment of Tony Reeves as Head of Sales.
Tony brings with him unique and unrivalled understanding of the industry, having more than 25 years of experience in specialist roles with businesses such as Hyundai, Promac Solutions Ltd., and Miller UK Ltd. in the UK, and also on the other side of the globe, with Clark Equipment New Zealand Ltd.
From starting his career in the late 1970’s, Tony has first-hand experience of machinery and repair, and has continued to build impressive technical and product knowledge. He will head up Rygor Plant’s sales team and is excited to be able to ensure Rygor Plant customers receive the highest possible return on investment.
Rygor Plant has the largest XCMG territory in the UK, stretching from Somerset to Shrewsbury, across to Lincoln, down to London and across to Bristol, supplying and maintaining the full XCMG Earthmoving product range.
Speaking about his new role, Tony said: “The XCMG brand is new to the UK marketplace and there’s lots of positive buzz around the huge capability of their industry leading products, so I can’t wait to support my team as they showcase the full range.”
Tony continued: “As a business, Rygor Plant is an equally exciting venture for me professionally. It’s a forward-thinking and dynamic business, and although it’s a new player in the plant machinery sector, its team is exceptional, dedicated and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s an exciting time, and I’m looking forward to expanding our team and building, developing and nurturing relationships with our existing customers, and to building profitable, long-standing partnerships with new customers.”
Commercial director, Rish Channa, said: “Our business has already been supporting construction industry customers for decades, and our sales team understands the unique requirements of this fast-paced, specialist industry. We know without a shadow of a doubt that Tony’s wealth of knowledge of both the UK’s and worldwide marketplace, combined with an emphasis on growth, development, and account management, will ensure our customers receive the highest quality service level and return on investment possible, to positively impact their own businesses.
Rish added: “Tony is a real asset to Team Rygor, not only for his unique understanding of plant products and machinery, but also his in-depth knowledge of what it takes to be a successful construction business. The needs of our customers come first, and we know Tony’s unique perspective means he’s the best person for this important role.”
