Rygor Auto and Rygor Service Solutions, both part of the Rygor Group, are proud to announce that both business areas have been awarded Maintenance Provision Rating Scheme (MPRS) accreditation, a prestigious recognition that demonstrates their continued dedication to the highest standards in vehicle maintenance, safety, and operational performance.
The MPRS accreditation, overseen by the Freight Transport Association (FTA) and recognised across the commercial vehicle industry, assesses maintenance providers on a wide range of performance indicators, including compliance, quality control, workshop facilities, technician training, and customer service standards.
Achieving this accreditation reflects Rygor’s ongoing investment in people, processes, and facilities, ensuring that customers can have total confidence in the safety, reliability, and efficiency of their fleets.
“This accreditation is a fantastic achievement for our team and a testament to the consistent professionalism, skill, and care our team delivers every day,” said Sean Joyce aftersales director at Rygor. “The MPRS standard validates what our customers already know, that Rygor delivers exceptional service quality and vehicle maintenance they can truly rely on.
“Each individual site operating under Rygor Auto and Rygor Service Solutions was assessed independently as part of the MPRS accreditation process. Through rigorous evaluations, every location demonstrated outstanding performance across all key criteria, resulting in Platinum status being awarded to each site. This is the highest level of recognition available under the scheme and a clear reflection of the exceptional standards upheld across the Rygor Group,” Sean added.
For Rygor’s team members, this accreditation provides further assurance that their technical expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence are being recognised and benchmarked against national industry standards. It also supports ongoing professional development through structured quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Paul Wallace, head of vehicle maintenance units at Rygor Service Solutions, said: “For our customers, which includes supermarket giant, Tesco, it is imperative that we 3
ensure the uptime of their vehicles and the MPRS accreditation provides even greater confidence in Rygor’s maintenance operations, that their vehicles are maintained by an accredited provider committed to best practice.
“We’ve always been passionate about doing the right thing by our customers and our people. This recognition from the MPRS reinforces that ethos. It’s not just about meeting standards, but about exceeding them by being Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful. This achievement highlights the consistency and quality embedded throughout Rygor’s network. It reinforces that whether customers engage with Rygor Auto or Rygor Service Solutions, they can expect the same industry-leading levels of safety, reliability, and service excellence at every site,” Paul added.
Following the announcement earlier this year that Rygor Group is a UK Best Workplace in the Manufacturing, Production and Transportation sector, this milestone further strengthens Rygor’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle partners, delivering award-winning service across sales, aftersales, and fleet support.
