Rygor Group Achieves Great Place to Work™ Certification
Rygor Group Ltd., which includes multi-franchised commercial vehicle dealer, Rygor Auto (formally known as Rygor Commercials) has announced that it is officially Great Place to Work Certified™ for the second year running.
The certification comes off the back of a significant year for the award-winning automotive company, which saw an MBO in November 2022, the launch of Rygor Plant in July and a Group-wide rebrand in August this year, marking a new era for the business.
Commenting on Rygor Group’s achievement, managing director John Keogh, said: “This is an extremely exciting time for the future of Rygor Group Ltd. and to be certified for a second year running as a Great Place to Work™, is really the icing on the cake. Our values are at the heart of the business and, whilst it is brilliant to be certified, we will not stop here. We will continue to develop and enhance our company, to be a Rewarding, Reliable, Respectful place to work for our team.”
Rygor Group received a 77% aggregate score from its team members which significantly surpassed the certification pass mark. The TRUST INDEX© survey from Great Places to Work, invites employees to respond to 60 core statements, which are asked consistently of all organisations taking part in the initiative. These statements look at a variety of key areas of employee engagement and company culture, including collaboration, justice, communication, teamwork, credibility, engagement, innovation, leadership behaviour and hospitality.
Rish Channa, commercial director, said: “There has been a lot of exciting change in our business over the past 12 months, and all the while we have strived to keep our team members at the heart of everything we do. As a UK Best Workplace, we focus on recognising and developing our team, with initiatives such as introducing birthday leave, enhancing our maternity and paternity pay, offering paid miscarriage leave, celebrating staff at our internal company awards and our internal training and development opportunities. In fact, we have recently been able to recognise our team members even further, via a new initiative. We are inviting our team to attend events in Rygor Group’s box at Wembley, which we have invested in to be able to give back to our incredible team and show them how much we appreciate what they do.”
Keogh added: “I am incredibly proud to be the owner of such an amazing Group and know I speak on behalf of myself and Rish when I say, we believe we have the very best team in the industry. This certification is so important to us, because it is based on our team members’ feedback, and we will utilise it to continue to drive the business forward, making Rygor Group a place our team is proud to work.”
