Rygor Group Launches Rygor Plant with XCMG UK

At this year’s Plantworx, the team from the award-winning automotive company, Rygor Group Ltd., officially launched its new division, Rygor Plant.
Rygor Plant really is groundbreaking as it’s the UK’s first and largest Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) Dealer, with a territory stretching from Somerset to Shrewsbury, across to Lincoln, down to London, and across to Bristol. Crucially, Rygor Plant will supply and maintain the entire XCMG Earthmoving product range.
Rygor Group owns multi award-winning commercial vehicle business Rygor Auto, which includes the UK’s largest Mercedes Benz commercial vehicle dealer group, and the UK’s largest SAIC Maxus dealer group, alongside the Higer Coaches brand. Why’s this such great news? In addition to the exceptional XCMG product range, customers can be confident they’ll experience the award-winning customer service Team Rygor is known for, and benefit from the vast experience and customer focused dedication offered by Rygor Group’s diverse team.
Aftersales is the core of Rygor Group’s business, and it sells over 300,000 labour hours per year, holds £3m worth of parts in its own stock at any one time, and has teams of mobile technicians across the country, attending customers on a daily basis for preventative maintenance & breakdowns.
Following a change of ownership in 2022, the company has seen considered growth and expansion, which complements its current, quality offering to customers.

It was a big moment for everyone when pen was put to paper and contracts were exchanged at Plantworx 2023, and Alan’s looking forward to supporting Rygor Plant’s team and its customers. “I’m excited about the dynamics of Rygor Plant and Rygor Group Ltd. Rygor Plant provides specialist heavy plant sales and aftersales care, utilising the existing expertise of Rygor Group’s heavy commercial vehicle team. This carefully considered symbiotic partnership harnesses the expertise, innovation, and dedication of two industry leading businesses, and we recently caught up with one of the team, Jason Davey, Rygor Plant Area Sales Manager.
Jason’s always happy to wax lyrical about plant machinery and has over twenty years industry experience to share with customers. He said: “The XCMG product is fantastic, so I knew I wanted to be part of the journey to bring it to the UK. Once I discovered Rygor Group were going to be one of the main dealers, I knew I had to take the opportunity to join the team seriously. By utilising the existing expertise and infrastructure of Rygor Group’s heavy commercial vehicle team, I am confident Rygor Plant is the very best choice for customers.
