Rygor Group is delighted to announce that four of our team members have been named finalists in the 2026 Motor Trader Women in Motor Industry Awards. Director of People & Communication, Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, Head of Parts, Emma Joyce, Head of People, Samantha Bettridge, and People & Culture Executive, Emily Walsh have each been recognised for their outstanding contributions to both Rygor and the wider automotive industry.
The Women in Motor Industry Awards celebrate the achievements of women who are making a positive impact across the automotive sector, recognising innovation, leadership, dedication, and those who are helping to shape the future of the industry.
At Rygor, we are incredibly proud to see four members of Team Rygor announced as finalists, amongst some of the sector’s most inspiring professionals. Their recognition reflects not only their individual achievements, but also the passion, expertise, and commitment they bring to the business every day.
Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, said “Rygor continues to invest in initiatives designed to support greater representation and inclusion within the automotive industry. From the launch of our Women in Automotive Journal, to leadership development programmes, mentoring opportunities, and industry collaboration, we remain committed to creating opportunities for women to thrive and succeed.”
The announcement of four finalists is particularly special as it demonstrates the depth of talent across our business and highlights the positive impact our people are having both within Rygor and across the wider automotive community.
John Keogh, Rygor managing director, said: “Seeing four members of Team Rygor recognised as finalists is a fantastic achievement and something we are incredibly proud of. Samantha, Emily, Emma and Kate have all made significant contributions to our business, our culture, and the wider industry. Their passion, professionalism, and commitment to driving positive change make them deserving finalists, and we wish them every success at the awards.”
The finalists will attend the 2026 Motor Trader Women in Motor Industry Awards later this year, where winners will be announced.
